the primary function of the supplier quality engineer (sqe) is to monitor and communicate quality issues for purchased components and assemblies from containment thru 8d closure. this includes evaluation of corrective actions to ensure robustness to prevent re-occurrence， etc. sqe is also involved in new supplier quality assessment， supplier apqp development and tracking， and supplier quality continuous improvement.

key accountabilities /responsibilities:

-potential supplier audit. a. potential supplier audit per iatf 16949; b. assessment the results and report finding; c. action developing and tracking;

-supplier development quality control; a. supplier apqp development and tracking b. clear understand requirements on the drawing， in particular all key product characteristics (kpc); c. clear understand the key characteristics control in supplier process with control methods; d. sample submitting with related document such as material， functional and dimension check report; e. supplier ppap document developing per ppap manual including engineering change requirements; f. supplier ppap review and on side audit to consistency; g. supplier ppap approval ( final approval shall be by quality manager);

-supplier performance maintenance a. approved supplier list maintenance; b. quality performance report such as reject/return rate， on time delivery and customer ppm regarding supplied parts; c. supplier quality problem resolution and report; d. engineering change follow-up including subcontract， material tooling and process etc.; e. regular supplier audit.

-continuous improvement a. supplier performance improving (quality， delivery and response) b. cycle time， cost and management improving; c. coaching supplier in apqp， ppap， msa， spc， fmea etc.

requirements/qualifications:

-bachelors degree in engineering or manufacturing is required;

-3-5 years of quality engineering experience in the automotive industry;

-knowledge in manufacturing problem solving (8-d methodology) and manufacturing -processes required;

-knowledge ofiatf 16949 requirements including aiag apqp， pfmea， msa and ppap required;

-knowledge of spc required;

-effective at defining problems， collecting data， establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and/or concrete variables. proficient in general business correspondence to external suppliers. effective communication skills to clearly articulate supplier defect issues and to respond to questions regarding these issues;

- push supplier analysis root cause， define implement corrective actions， then assessment report from supplier，to ensure root cause is defined correctly， corrective actions are implemented， avoid failure happen again;

- 推动供应商分析失效原因并定义实施改进措施，然后评估供应商的报告，确保失效根本原因清楚定义，以及改进措施的实施并起到预期效果，避免失效再次发生；

- feedback status of complain internal， share lesson learn with different plants suppliers if necessary;

- 在内部反馈投诉的状况，并在必要时共享经验教训给不同的工厂及供应商；

- according to result of part release and related specification， define maintain inspection plan in sap in time;

- 根据零件放行结果和相关规范，及时在sap中定义并维护进料检验计划；

- keep monitor supplier performance， take continue improvement actions， to achieved defined supplier quality target;

-持续监控供应商质量表现，采取持续改进措施， 以达成约定的供应商质量目标；

- support customer third part visits/audits in sgcc for supplier topics;

-支持客户/第三方机构审核中关于供应商相关的事项；

职位要求：

- bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering;

- 全日制本科学历，机械或电机工程专业；

- more than 3 years working in automotive industry as supplier quality assurance;

- 至少3年汽车行业供应商质量管理工作经验；

- know well about iatf16949 system;

-了解ts16949质量体系要求；

- know well about quality tool， apqa， ppap， msa， fmea， and spc etc;

- 掌握相关质量工具，如apqp， ppap， msa， fmea， spc， 等；

- experience of supplier audit process release based on vda6.3;

- 有基于vda6.3的供应商评审以及过程放行经验；

- know well about 8d method and can use 8d method to solve quality issue;

- 了解8d方法，并能运用8d方法解决质量问题；

- knowledge of measuring technology;

- 掌握测量技术及要求；

- good communication skill;

- 良好的沟通技能；

- good command of english in reading， writing， listening and speaking.
